Material science particles: Quantum dots

Quantum dots are used for their unique properties for bio-medical application and in the field of material science. Both visualization and height measurements are equally important.An example of line profile measurements is shown on Figure 1. CdTe core-shell quantum dots (Evident Technology Inc), nominal diameter 1.6-6.7nm, were used for AFM imaging.
